an arm, a leg, and a tank of gas

Yesterday evening, on my way home, I stopped to fill up my car. When I was done, I had officially paid the most I’ve ever paid in my entire life for a tank of gas.

$40.60
For a 2002 Mazda Protege LX with a 13 gallon tank. Wow. I’m curious….what are you spending on a tank of gas right now?

Ispent $40 on 1/2 tank in that Explorer you sold me, but prices are still not as high here. Regular is $3.19.

    um…i don’t want to say.

thanks “anonymous” (clear throat)for extending a little guilt there. and $3.19 is higher than what we’re currently paying here, which is about $3.13 right now.

We paid $110 last week once. Well, it was a fully loaded 29 passenger church bus pulling a full 16 foot trailer. We were on a mission trip. Viva la Mexico! (Cheapest we saw gas was in Texas where it was $3.09 a gallon.)
